UBS focuses on small cos

UBS Asset Management is to launch its UK Smaller Companies trust, managed by Frank Manduca, on 14 February. The fund will be benchmarked against the Hoare Govett index and is likely to hold more than 100 stocks, said Tristan Mawdsley, sales manager at UBS Asset Management. Manduca joined UBS Asset management on 16 September after almost 17 years investment management experience, the majority of which was at Gartmore.
