New Star and Artemis are among the eight groups giving their views on the state of world markets on Investment Week's Funds for the Future roadshow.
The seminars, which take place across the country until 21 November, also include First State, Govett, Premier, Solus, Gerrard and Isis, who will all provide their market views and offer insights into their investment approaches.
Among the fund managers speaking at the forthcoming events are UK fund manager Tim Steer of New Star, Peter Kysel of Govett on European equity markets, Joe Anderson of First State Investments on healthcare and biotech and Les Jones of Gerrard on Japan.
The forum includes an industry debate focusing on the impact of recent events in the US on global markets and alternative measures brokers should be taking to protect their clients' portfolios.
On 2 October, Funds for the Future is in Jersey, moving to Belfast on 10 October and Manchester on 17 October.
The following month there are seminars in Edinburgh on 6 November, Leeds on 15 November and Birmingham on 21 November.
Investment intermediaries are welcome to attend free of charge and can register by contacting Lyndsey Whettingsteel on 020 7432 6986 or by email at [email protected]
