Bullhound has launched a marketing and distribution campaign in the UK for its offshore Global Technology Fund.
The Luxembourg-domiciled fund is managed by both Per Roman and Christian Lagerling. Roman is the stock picker for the fund and Lagerling is the risk manager. The investment strategy is a combination of bottom up and top down analysis. Roman said: "Our investment strategy is focused on emerging infrastructure technology companies such as software, network equipment, and semiconductors. We spend three to six months researching companies, we meet with their management teams and pick stocks."
There is no minimum investment and no fixed fees, no sales fees, no annual management fee and no redemption fee. The company charges a 20% performance fee on value created above the short interest rate (US$ LIBOR) on a quarterly basis.
Christian Lagerling, risk manager, said: "Considering the high risk in the sector, we do not want to charge our investors fees unless we create value for them. We look for knowledgeable, active investors who understand the potential in infrastructure technology."
The product is available to third party distributors through Interactive Investor located at www.iii.co.uk and at www.bullhound.com.
