Lombard appoints CIO

Lombard Odier, the Swiss asset manager selling FSA-recognised Sicav subfunds to the UK intermediary market, has hired Fabrizio Pierallini as chief investment officer for international equities. Pierallini will be based in the group's London office, heading up the international equities team, which has responsibilty for a number of offshore, high conviction growth funds. The team is split between London, Geneva, Zurich and Hong Kong, which provides its base for investing in China. Analysts and fund managers operate along both sector and country lines.
