One year fixed rate bond for Chelsea

Chelsea Building Society has launched its One-Year Fixed Rate Bond (24th issue). However, it has withdrawn its One-Year Fixed Bond (23rd issue) and Two Year Fixed Rate Bond (16th issue), from 19 November. The new One-Year Fixed Rate Bond will feature an interest rate of 3.95% gross pa fixed until 11 February 2004 for investments of £1,000 and above. Interest can be taken monthly or annually. Investors will be able to make immediate withdrawals by cash or cheque, although this will incur 60 days loss of interest on the amount withdrawn. Contact 01242 283 593.
