Aberdeen Asset Management has named Rod Davidson, the group's head of global fixed income, as manager of the split-cap Jove investment trust, replacing Ross Watson. According to investment trust analyst Charles Cade at HSBC, Watson will continue to manage the trust's UK equity portfolio. The board of the trust, one of a number to suspend dividends earlier this year, said it will begin paying dividends again, with the first declared in June 2002.
