Ann Steele to leave Gartmore

Ann Steele, manager of the Gartmore European Focus fund is to leave the company after 10 years with the group. A Gartmore spokesman said the move is Steele's decision, however it comes at a time when the group is making redundancies across the board. Gartmore would not reveal who the replacement manager on the European Focus fund would be, due to sensitivities about redundancies occurring this week.
