Newton is planning to launch a European High Yield fund in October, which will be managed by the fixed interest team led by Helena Morrissey, writes Jenne Mannion. The yield of the fund is not yet determined, however it plans to pay income on a monthly basis, according to Simon Wombwell, director at Newton. Morrissey already runs the frAA rated £119m Newton High Yield Bond Oeic sub fund, which is ranked 10 out of 16 funds in the UK Other Bond sector over one year, offer to bid.
