GE Life is to launch an Income Option Plan next week offering the choice of income or growth linked to the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 Index.
The Income Option Plan, offering 3% commission, is a three-year and two-month investment plan, that allows investors to choose the level of income or growth and the element of risk they are comfortable with.
The higher-risk Option 1 offers 10.00% annual income, 0.78% monthly income or 33% growth, while the lower risk Option 2 offers 8.00% annual income, 0.64% monthly or 27% growth.
Capital will be returned in full if the index never falls by more than 20% for Option 1 or 30% for Option 2 or the final index level at 4 August 2005 is at or above the initial index level on 15 July 2003.
Movements in the index during the first year of the plan are not taken into account. The plan is Isable but direct investments of up to £1m can be made.
The offer period on the plan closes on 5 July 2002.
