Scottish Equitable is staging income drawdown seminars for IFAs in the hope it will give them the additional tools and expertise they need to get access the £12.3bn drawdown market once the age limit is raised.
Roadshows - entitled 'Thinking beyond annuities' - are designed looks at the issues concerning use of annuities and income drawdown and are backed with additional sales support material, ideas and case studies to help IFA present the arguments and develop their business.
ScotEq's belief is the market will grow significantly before A-Day in April 2005 arrives, but may see major take-up after that date once the drawdown limit is raised beyond age 75.
Seminars will be targeted at different skill levels and knowledge, to cater to the needs of adviser types and experience:
To attend the seminar or request an income drawdown marketing pack, contact your local Scottish Equitable branch, or call your local IFA Access account manager on 0845 6100061.
