However all other costs will still apply, fees before VAT of £25 as transfer in fees, £60 as annual administration charge, a dealing commission rate of 0.2% and a stamp duty of 0.5% on amount invested.
With minimum investment of £1,000, the investment trusts covers a generous range. Investors will be able to choose to transfer into a range of 10 investment trusts offered by the group. This includes F&C Investment Trust, F&C Emerging Markets, F&C Eurotrust, F&C PEP and ISA, F&C US Smaller Companies, F&C Smaller Companies, F&C Pacific, F&C Latin American, F&C Income Growth, Graphite Enterprise Trust.
The offer runs from 1 September 2001 until 30 November 2001.
Georgette Harrison, head of private investor marketing at F&C, comments: "With stock markets in turmoil the worst thing an investor can do is leave their money sitting in poorly performing funds. It is worth considering transferring your Pep to a manager who can offer a wide choice of investment options and has a good track record."
