Richard Boon is leaving his post at Morgan Stanley to take up a new role at Merrill Lynch as head of the London-based US investment team. Starting in July, Boon, will be managing director and head of MLIM's US investment division, reporting to Andreas Utermann, global head of equities and, Gary Lowe, co-head of equities in EMEA. MLIM's US investment team looks after $6bn in assets for European and Asia-Pacific clients.
