The process of obtaining free Unipass digital certificates from Origo, the standards organisation, have been changed following a review by the Association of IFAs.
Origo says the changes will make it easier to obtain a certificate, requiring less paperwork on the part of intermediaries.
Contract and guidance notes have been make shorter and clearer for IFAs considering signing up, the organisation adds.
IFAs can now access the application process, including guidance notes, through AIFA's own website in addition to the Unipass website, and commitments have been made to cutting the time needed to approve applications.
