When it comes to admitting who really takes control of the day-to-day finances in the home, it seems that both husbands and wives are scrambling to get their services noticed, according to research by Citibank Premium Banking. When Citibank posed the question to around 1000 British adults, 2/3 of married men claimed they were responsible for managing the daily household finances as did 2/3 of the married women surveyed.
