AP Information Services has published Pensions Funds and their Advisors 2000, listing 2,535 UK pensions schemes worth a combined £850bn.
The 800-page guide, which is now in its 32nd edition, also provides a directory of over 800 professional advisors to the pensions industry, including training providers. The Blue Book is aimed at professional advisers to pension fund schemes and pension fund managers sourcing new advisers or researching the activities of other funds.
It contains summaries of investments for more than 1,000 UK pension funds and features a ranking of the top 1,000 funds according to capital value. Funds are indexed according to region and business activity.
The section on advisers contains information and contact details on accountants, actuaries, pension fund consultants, associations and professional bodies, insurance companies, investment managers and advisors, pension administrators, pension trustees, recruitment consultants, and solicitors. The guide has a foreword from former pensions minister and opposition leader William Hague, and contains articles from Karen Eldridge of the Ethical Investment Research Service, Gillie Tomlinson of Cazenove Fund Management, Lindsey Smart of HSBC Global Fund Services, and John Quarrell of Nabarro Nathanson.
The Blue Book costs £195 and is available from 020 8349 9988 or email: [email protected]
