Cityjobs.com, the recruitment website, has abandoned plans to move from Ofex to Aim after Peter Trowell, its joint managing director, resigned without explanation. Brokers at Hoodless Brennan who had been advising the company on the move to Aim said they would stop working as financial advisers. Cityjobs.com shares started trading on Ofex at 50p in December 1999 but are now at just 3p. For the six months to July 2000 it recorded a pre-tax loss of £859,000.
