Flemings this week launches a group of funds available to the UK market and rebrands its Luxembourg product range.
Investment Week understands Flemings is looking to bring out between five and 10 equity portfolios made up of a mixture of themes and regional mandates. They will all be part of its Luxembourg range and be authorised for sale in 13 European countries, including the UK.
In addition, the Fleming Flagship Funds banner on the Luxembourg umbrella is to be changed to Fleming Funds. All existing products in the range, and those which are to be unveiled later this week, have euro and dollar-denominated share classes.
Flemings is to give further details of the funds at a launch to be held in Paris later this week. The group is using this as an opportunity to stress its commitment to be a strong pan-European player in the mutual funds business. However, it also said it intended to carry on producing UK-based products for its UK distribution channels.
