Potter and Burdett unveil MM quintet

FORMER Credit Suisse Multi-manager duo Rob Burdett and Gary Potter have burst back into the fund management arena with new firm Thames River Capital, unveiling five funds of funds.

The pair, who ran 20 funds in total at Credit Suisse, have effectively transplanted the four core funds they were best known for at their previous employer, as well as releasing a new offering aiming to produce a high income and capital growth for investors. The Thames River Distribution fund will hold up to 60pc in equities, operating in a similar way to a cautious fund, while simultaneously targeting a yield of between 4pc and 5pc per annum, from a portfolio of between 20 and 30 holdings.
