Ex-iimia chief sets up own firm

FORMER iimia investment head John Crowley has set up Hawksmoor Investment Management, a specialist discretionary firm based in Exeter.

The firm intends to focus on pure investment management, with no in-house funds in clients' portfolios or financial planning. It aims to cater specifically for the South West region. Crowley explained: "Many financial planners, as well as solicitors and accountants, refer their clients to large, national investment managers and stockbrokers for discretionary investment management.
