1st survey sees ecommerce advancing

Two-thirds of Adviser Office (AO) users will "definitely" be moving business online, according to a survey of some 500 intermediaries carried out by AO developer 1st Software.

Almost one in five (18%) say they will do so in the next month, 1st reports – incidentally a timeframe which includes the expected launch of Adviser Evolution, as first outlined in November last year. According to the research, the three main drivers of ecommerce are fund updates (56% of respondents), asset analysis (60%) and e-commission services (54%).
