Yorkshire Guernsey has launched fixed rate accounts plus a Global 90 Account for personal and business investors.
The two, three and five year Fixed Rate Account will be withdrawn from sale on 31 July and is available to personal investors only. With a minimum investment of £10,000, interest is paid monthly or annually. However, no withdrawals or early closures are allowed during the term.
The two year fixed rate matures on 31 July 2011 and has an annual interest of 3.25% gross and a monthly interest of 3.2%.
Maturing on 31 July 2012, the three year account has an annual interest of 3.85% gross and a monthly interest of 3.78%.
The five year account matures on 31 July 2014 and has an annual interest of 4.25% gross and a monthly interest of 4.17%.
Meanwhile, the Global 90 Account offers a higher rate of interest for advance notice of withdrawals.
If account holders give 90 days notice of withdrawal for accessing money, they will not lose any interest. If the individual's money is required more quickly, it can be accessed without notice, subject to loss of 90 days' interest on the amount withdrawn.
Annual interest for a £100,000 sum or above, from 9 June is 2.6%, with a monthly interest of 2.57%. Sums of £10,000 to £99,000 will receive 2% interest annually or 1.98% monthly.
Minimum investment is £10,000, and the smallest transaction allowed is £500.
