Standard Bank Offshore hires IFA head

Standard Bank Offshore has appointed David Wilkinson as director of intermediary distribution, targeting relationships in African emerging markets.

Wilkinson was previously head of sales for the investment and financial planning teams in the Isle of Man and Gibraltar at Royal Bank of Scotland International. He will lead a team of advisers responsible for managing and developing the relationships between Standard Bank Offshore and IFAs globally. "The emerging markets in Africa, where the bank has considerable experience and knowledge, is a key target for us," he said.
