Sanlam UK subsidiary Sanlam Investments & Pensions has launched a range of risk-rated passive model portfolios.
Launched via its specialist wrap offering, Portal, the portfolios are part of Sanlam's Accel risk profiling investment process.
Managed by Sanlam Fund Solutions, each passive model aims to recreate one of Accel's seven colour-coded risk category benchmarks.
The Accel tool looks at three elements of a client's risk profile: risk tolerance, risk capacity and end goals.
"We see growing interest in index investing from advisers, so it makes sense to offer devotees of the style an Accel-ready solution," said Sanlam UK head of investment solutions Rick Eling.
"Whether active or passive, our message is the same: portfolios should complement an adviser's skilled goal-planning and risk allocation work as part of an end-to-end advice process."
