Online private medical insurance (PMI) provider Health-On-Line is considering introducing a cancer-only plan which will be available through intermediaries.
Mark Martin, managing director of Health-On-Line, says the product is still under discussion but, if launched, he suggests it could be a competitor to Virgin Money’s Big V direct offer cancer cover. But Health-On-Line’s product is likely to be available only through intermediaries, as the company specialises in carrying out PMI business through IFAs, and would be designed to help people get well and meet the costs of improved cancer treatments.
