New L&G hire to head up protection arm

Legal & General (L&G) has appointed Martin Noone as sales director within its protection arm.

The firm says Noone will have responsibility for enhancing L&G’s presence in the protection market through the adviser sector. He joins from BUPA, where he ran the sales operation across individual protection and group risk, as well as heading up its customer service operation. Prior to this, Noone held sales and commercial roles at CIGNAL and Prudential in what has so far been a 20-year financial career.
