The UK is one of the most anxious nations in the world, according to a new global risks survey.
Around 4000 people were interviewed in 10 countries for the AXA Protection Life Risks League Table which placed the UK in fourth place on the list of worriers. More than one in five UK adults (22%) claim they frequently worry about life risks, such as death, ill health and financial hardship, and just 9% say they never worry. The Germans are the most risk-obsessed nation, with 38% saying they frequently worry about life risks, while the Italians (29%) and Americans (25%) took the second and third places.
