FundsNetwork has added four equity funds and three mixed asset funds to its range.
The four equity funds are the Britannic European Alpha fund, run by Barry Norris; the CF Neptune China and the CF Neptune Russia and Greater Russia, both managed by Robin Geffen and the Newton Global Opportunities fund managed by Alex Stanic. The new mixed asset funds are the Artemis Strategic Bond, run by James Foster; the Credit Suisse Multi-Manager Incubator fund, managed by Robert Burdett and Gary Potter; and the JPM Cautious Return fund, headed up by Miles Geldard. All seven funds have been launched within the past four months, with the exception of the two Neptune funds which were opened in December 2004. Rob Fisher, marketing director at FundsNetwork, said: "The two Neptune funds in questions were just not promoted for a while by the group; they were not in the main range."
All the funds have an initial commission of 3% and a renewal commission of 0.5%, apart from Credit Suisse Incubator and JPM Cautious Total Return, both of which have an initial commission of 4%.
Fisher said: "We add the funds as and when they are available, usually they are new like the Incubator fund, but generally we don't pick the funds, we are very much a neutral platform. The spread of style in these additions was purely coincidental."
