ETF Securities has unveiled 12 currency exchange-traded notes (ETNs) on Xetra in Germany.
Four of the latest products provide long or short exposure to emerging market currencies, while the other eight ETNs are euro-based.
The firm listed its range of emerging market currency products on the London Stock Exchange on June 21, along with 18 GBP-based ETNs.
The euro-based notes reflect the performance of indices tracking the exchange rates of the euro versus the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, New Zealand dollar, and US dollar.
Depending on whether investors opt for long or short exposure, they can profit from a rising or falling euro rate.
The emerging market currency ETNs are based on indices tracking the exchange rate of the US dollar to the Chinese renminbi and Indian rupee, with long or short exposure.
Deutsche Boerse combines ETCs and ETNs in its exchange-traded products segment. The exchange's ETF and ETP ranges comprise 674 ETFs, 171 ETCs and 31 ETNs.
