As a family, we have used the services of our National Health Service a few times in recent years. My children were both born in NHS hospitals, both Cassie (my wife) and I have used the services provided through our public healthcare system, and it is reassuring that when either Charlotte or Sophie (my two daughters) are unwell the NHS has our back health-wise. We could pay additionally for private healthcare, but we choose not to. Why? Because the service we receive from the NHS has been truly excellent.
