Pick one of our six nominees to be Personality of the Year
Every year, and inspired in part by suggestions from our readers over the course of the last 12 months, Professional Adviser names its shortlist of candidates for the award, which recognises individuals who stand out for their contributions to the financial advice sector. It goes without saying advisers tend be heavily represented in our list but, where appropriate, we are delighted to include players from other parts of the financial services industry.
This year, we have picked six people, each of whom in our opinion represents a major theme with which the financial advice sector is currently having to grapple – what we will call here ‘banging the drum’, ‘consolidation and M&A’, ‘evolving while staying true to your values, ‘fees and charges’, ‘recruitment and education’ and ‘technology and innovation’.
In a departure from previous years, in addition to the votes of those attending the 2017 PA Awards next month, we are seeking the input of all our readers over the coming weeks.

This email stage of the voting process will close at midday on 9 February and the main rule is – please, only one vote per person. The editor’s decision as to what constitutes ‘electoral fraud’ here will be final.
