CII joins forces with BBA to train frontline bank staff on pension freedoms

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and the British Bankers Association (BBA) are launching a joint initiative to promote and develop standards and skills in retail banking.

The collaboration will see the CII and BBA focus on individuals working in customer facing roles within banks throughout the UK. The BBA's Learning Academy will promote the CII's professional qualifications in retail banking, financial planning and general insurance as part of the programme. These will range from qualifications aimed at front line staff to degree level programmes and the associated Chartered status.
