The reasons over-55s don't want your advice

A new survey has suggested the real reasons just one in five of the over-55s - and just 13% of men - are willing to pay for financial advice.

Despite being given unprecedented access to their life savings once they reach 55, the majority will not seek professional help about what to do with it, according to a survey by comparison website Money. A quarter of over 55s with a pension planned to make a withdrawal following the introduction of pension freedoms in April this year, When asked why they wouldn't pay for a financial adviser, they vast majority - 59% - said they don't feel they need it.
