I recall a film I once watched about a soldier who came back from the Vietnam War and was haunted by demons. One quote, which came from the soldier's doctor, stuck in my mind: "If you're afraid of dying, and you're holding on you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels freeing you from the world."
