Sesame Bankhall Group signs Women in Finance Charter

Among 45 new firms this month

Sesame Bankhall Group (SBG) has become one of the latest financial services firms to flag its commitment to building a more balanced and fair industry by signing HM Treasury's Women in Finance Charter.

The charter is a government initiative designed to improve equality within the financial sector. It is intended to highlight how a balanced workforce is good for "business, customers, profitability and workplace culture, and is increasingly attractive for investors". In signing, SBG has pledged to: have one member of its senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion; set internal targets for gender diversity in its senior management; publish annual progress against those targets; and have the intention to ensure the pay of its senior executiv...
