Rathbones enjoys strong Q3 as flows accelerate again

Rathbone Brothers has seen a 15.6% increase in funds under management (FUM) in the first three quarters of the year, with flows accelerating in Q3.

That growth was particularly strong in Q3: the investment management arm saw underlying annualised net organic growth rise 5.6%, with the annualised rate of net inflows up 7.8%. That pushed FUM up to £19.1bn on the quarter. The unit trust arm, meanwhile, saw net inflows of £91m and positive market movements of £86m on the quarter, pushing FUM up to £1.6bn. Overall, Rathbone Unit Trust Management has seen a 23.1% increase in funds under management in the past nine months, up from £1.3bn at the end of December to £1.6bn.
