Potter and Burdett head for Thames River

FORMER Credit Suisse flagship fund managers Rob Burdett and Gary Potter are set to join Thames River Capital, the boutique investment house has confirmed.

Burdett and Potter are currently on gardening leave at CSAM where they are co-heads of the multi-manager team. The duo, who have worked together for over 10 years, resigned last Tuesday in a storm which pre-empted several industry rumours about where they were off to next. Psigma and AXA were quickly struck off the list, but links with Thames River are now confirmed as accurate after rumours circulated last week they had been sighted with Thames River's ceo, Charlie Porter, prior to their CSAM departure.
