A Labour government doesn't inspire investors

Private investors are unimpressed by the general election result according to the latest Gartmore survey of professional and active investors.

Only three in ten (30%) private investors think that Labour’s third term will have a positive effect on the economy, however research also suggests a similar number feel it will prove negative, according to Gartmore. Perhaps most significantly in relation to party distinction, 39% are remaining completely ambivalent towards who is in power and their relationship to the economy.
