Schroders' Robin Stoakley is stepping down from his position as managing director UK intermediary, but will maintain a senior role at the group, while the firm has also announced a new UK country head.

Stoakley (pictured) will hand over the management of the UK intermediary business to James Rainbow, head of UK financial institutions and strategic accounts, and Phil Middleton, head of UK intermediary business development. The firm said in a statement, Stoakley will "maintain a senior role within the firm" and will oversee relationships with global financial clients while developing Schroders' South African presence.
