AJ Bell launches managed portfolio service for advisers

Platform and pension provider AJ Bell has launched a managed portfolio service (MPS) for advisers based on passive investments.

The MPS is designed to run alongside existing risk profiling tools used by advisers. The firm said it would allow them to provide clients with a risk-targeted investment solution and reduce the regulatory burden that comes with portfolio management. The five portfolios that target specific levels of risk will be run by AJ Bell Investment, the new investment management business that was created earlier this year. The portfolios are broadly diversified across asset classes and regions, which will be rebalanced quarterly to ensure they work in line with their risk targets, AJ Bell said. ...
