Provider @SIPP grows business with SASS acquisition

Specialist pension provider @SIPP has acquired Alfa Trustees in a deal which expands its small self-administered scheme (SSAS) book of business.

The acquisition from Foden Baynes Associates brings total assets under administration at @SIPP to more than £850m. Alfa brings with it £150 in assets under administration. Gill Baynes, director of Essex-based Alfa Trustees, will join the @SIPP management team as head of SSAS while all other Alfa Trustees and Foden Baynes SSAS employees will also transfer to the firm.
