Nutmeg personal pension to charge up to 1%

Nutmeg has launched a personal pension charging between 0.3% and 1% depending on contribution, and free of set-up or exit fees.

The direct-to-consumer online investment manager, which first disclosed plans to enter the pensions market last year, said the Nutmeg pension would carry a minimum investment of £5,000 and primarily use exchange-traded funds. Customers will be charged one annual management fee of between 0.3% and 1%, including VAT, depending on how much they have contributed to their Nutmeg funds. The operator and administrator of the pension is Hornbuckle and the trustee is Embark Trustees, a Hornbuckle company.
