National IFA opts against direct authorisation to join Caerus

A listed national IFA has joined the Caerus network after deciding the "time was not right" to become directly authorised (DA).

Alexander House Financial Services joined Caerus from Network Direct after an internal review showed it did not "have enough resources" to become DA and support its future growth plans in the next year. The firm's chief operating officer, Jane Hodges, said it "was always the intention to stay with Network Direct for one year and try to go DA after" but "it wasn't the right time for us, we didn't have enough resources, so we have chosen to combine our resources with that of Caerus to help support our challenging growth plans".
