Advisers are "amazingly resilient" and, as a profession, always manage to steer their way through change whether it is regulatory or legislative, says Sandringham chief executive Tim Sargisson.
Where the advice sector continues to struggle, however, is with client engagement, and Sargisson suggests it can be hard to see how it might appeal to the next generation of clients. "Advisers have to focus on embracing technology and better ways of client engagement," he stresses.
