Insourcing is 'evolution not revolution' for advice firms

Insourcing is an evolution, rather than revolution, for advice firms and their clients, according to PortfolioMetrix managing director Ben Peele.

Speaking at PortfolioMetrix's Insourcing Webinar on 5 March, he said that one of the major benefits to the insourcing services that PortfolioMetrix offers is the ability for an adviser to retain control.   "Models are customised to meet the needs of advisers' clients and their business," he explained.  Advisers are also able to keep their brand by creating models in their firm's name which protects them from the growing direct-to-client threat, Peele said.
