Malcolm Small, founder of the Retirement Income Alliance, a former TISA policy director and, more recently, a special adviser at Copia, has died at the age of 62.
Small (pictured) passed away on 19 February while in Spain - the cause of death is not yet known. He joined Copia Capital Management, the investment management division of Novia Financial, in June last year as a special adviser for retirement. He previously worked at Retirement Income Alliance, which he set up in 2015 to help the public navigate the pension freedoms. He has also worked as a policy director at the Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA) and a policy adviser on retirement at the Institute of Directors.
