Funds from EdenTree and Stewart Investors are among the first to receive the top rating from a new set of ratings marking funds on their climate impact.

The service, known as Climetrics, has been launched by CDP and ISS-Ethix Climate Solutions and ranks over €2trn worth of funds. Funds are given a one to five green leaf rating based on a variety of factors including the climate change impact of its portfolio holdings, as well the asset manager's own application of climate impact as an investment and governance factor. This will enable investors to gauge and compare the climate impact of investments in funds and potentially encourage growth in climate-responsible fund products.
