Openwork surpasses 2,000 advisers

Wider group grows to 3,200

Openwork has more than 2,000 advisers in its core network for the first time in five years and has begun to help advisers build succession planning into their practices as its next step in recruitment.

Openwork's wider group network, which includes its protection business Owl, national IFA 2plan wealth management and mortgages business Just Mortgages, reached 3,200 advisers. Chief executive Mark Duckworth (pictured) said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the business during a period in which overall adviser numbers in the UK have declined. "We believe this growth is a clear endorsement of our proposition and structure, which gives advisers a share of the equity in the business and a say over its direction."  Openwork said recruitment would be a key focus in 2017, following th...
