Old Mutual Wealth acquires £250m Beaumont Robinson

Deal adds 850 clients to Old Mutual’s advice arm

Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers has acquired financial planning firm Beaumont Robinson adding £250m in assets under advice.

The West Yorkshire-based firm, which has been in operation for 45 years, will add more than 850 clients and about £250m in assets to Old Mutual Wealth's advisory arm. Staff and management will remain with the business and support its transition, which will see it adopt the firm's centralised investment proposition and align its advice processes. The company's managing director, Michael Wall, will become a regional director at Old Mutual Wealth Private Client Advisers. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
