Threadneedle to rebrand as Columbia Threadneedle Investments

Threadneedle is to rebrand as Columbia Threadneedle Investments from the first half of this year as it merges capabilities with its US sister company.

The rebrand will represent closer links with the firm's US-affiliate Columbia Management and position the firm for growth. It intends to expand its presence in key markets including Latin America, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Columbia Management has $358bn in assets under management, and the new combined business will have $505bn in AUM across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternatives.
