The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has arested three individuals as part of an investigation into insider dealing.
Two men, aged 43 and 42, and a 35-year-old woman were arrested this morning with the assistance of Cheshire and Lancashire Constabularies and are currently in custody waiting to be questioned. Three search warrants were also executed at premises in Northwich and Rossendale. The FSA said the arrests were not linked to any other ongoing insider dealing investigations. A total of 11 convictions have already been secured by the FSA in relation to insider dealing, while it is also prosecuting 16 other individuals.
